Syampu berubat Malaseb merupakan shampu antibakteria, antifungal dan antigatal untuk kucing dan anjing. Kandungan bahan aktif dalam syampu ini ialah
miconazole nitrate (2%) dan
chlorhexidine gluconate (2%).
Micanzole ialah bahan antifungal, yang digunakan dalam pelbagai produk untuk haiwan dan juga manusia.
Chlorhexidine pula merupakan pembasmi kuman dan antibakteria.
* Menggunakan syampu berubat Malaseb membantu menyingkir lebihan kulit mati (bersisik), merawat serta mengurang dan melegakan kegatalan.
* Tidak mengandungi pewarna dan wangian untuk mengelakkan sebarang kemungkinan memburukkan masalah kulit haiwan kesayangan.
* Ia membantu menyingkirkan kulit rosak tanpa merosakkan dan mengeringkan kulit dan bulu haiwan.
* Ia juga boleh membantu menghilangkan penyakit kurap jika digunakan bersama dengan ubat rawatan kurap.
* Untuk merawat kurap (dermatophytosis), semua haiwan yg berdekatan dgn haiwan yg berjangkit harus dirawat untuk menghadkan jangkitan merebak dan untuk mengelakkan persekitaran tidak dicemari.
* Jika penyakit teruk, guna 2x seminggu. Untuk penjagaan (maintaining) gunakan 1x sebulan.
Cara menggunakannya:
Basahkan haiwan anda dengan menyeluruh bersama air yg bersih. Sapu Syampu Berubat Malaseb ke beberapa bahagian dan urut. Gunakan span (sponge) untuk menghasilkan buih supaya syampu boleh menyerap ke dalam bulu haiwan. Pastikan syampu disapu di sekeliling bibir, bawah ekor dan dicelah tapak kaki kerana kawasan ini boleh didiami oleh organisma yg berjangkit. Biarkan buih syampu pada badan haiwan selama 10 minit kemudian bilas dengan air yg bersih. Syampu 2x seminggu hingga tiada tanda2 gatal boleh dialami haiwan anda atau lakukan mengikut arahan vet anda.
Amaran:
Elakkan kawasan mata, sekiranya terkena mata haiwan, segera cuci dgn air bersih. Berjumpa dengan vet jika terdapat sebarang perubahan pada mata haiwan. Haiwan tidak boleh ditinggalkan sendirian ketika menunggu jangkamasa 10 minit kerana haiwan berkecenderungan menjilat buih syampu. Ini mungkin mengakibatkan iritasi pada saluran usus dan saluran pundi kencing haiwan tersebut.

It is designed to help treat bacterial, fungal and yeast infections on your canine or feline's skin. Malaseb Medicated Shampoo is also ideal as therapeutic treatment for your pet's bacterial or fungal seborrhea as the combination of ingredients is highly effective against the common organisms causing this disease (Staphylococcus intermedius and Malassezia pachydermatis). Malaseb also aids in the treatment of dermatophyte infections, known as Ringworm, (when caused by Microsporum canis, M. gypseum and Trichophyton mentagrophytes) in dogs and cats. It decreases the time to clinical resolution and kills infective spores.
Application of Malaseb Medicated Shampoo helps remove excess scaly skin, degreases skin and soothes and reduces any itching. Make bath time more than just fun time for your dogs and cats - make it treatment time too! Malaseb Medicated Shampoo makes treatment of a variety of skin diseases simple and quick. It contains no dyes and perfumes to avoid possible worsening of your pet's skin problems. It also removes damaged skin oils without stripping your dog or cat's coat, thus normalizing your pet skin's microenvironment for faster healing, without drying out the skin and coat. Malaseb Medicated Shampoo is registered for use on dogs, puppies, cats and kittens of all ages. It should be used with other antifungal medications for best ringworm treatment results. All animals in contact with a ringworm-infected pet should also be treated with Malaseb Medicated Shampoo to avoid spread of infection and environmental contamination.

Store at room temperature - 30 C or 86 F.
Directions for use:
Wet the animal thoroughly with clean water. Apply Malaseb Medicated Shampoo to the animal at several points and massage into the coat. A sponge assists lathering and penetration of shampoo into the coat. Make sure to apply it around the lips, under the tail and between the toes as these areas may harbor infectious organisms. Leave the lathered shampoo on skin for 10 minutes then rinse off with clean water. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms subside,or as recommended by your veterinarian.
For a 30kg (66 lb) canine with medium-length hair, 50mL of Malaseb Medicated Shampoo should be enough. For an adult feline, recommended amount would be 7-10 mL. When treating ringworm (dermatophytosis), all in contact animals should be treated to limit infection spreading and environmental contamination.
Warnings, Side Effects and Drug Interactions:
Use with caution around eyes. If shampoo enters animal's eye, flush thoroughly with clean water. Seek veterinary advice if eye changes are observed. Animals should not be left unattended during the recommended ten minute shampoo contact time as licking or inhaling shampoo foam may result in irritation of the gastrointestinal or respiratory tracts.
Malaseb Medicated Foam by Dermcare
Composition: Miconazole nitrate 20 g/L, chlorhexidine gluconate 20 g/L.
Actions: Antifungal effect against Malassezia , and a potent activity against bacteria. Chlorhexidine has a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeasts, moulds and fungi. The combination of miconazole and chlorhexidine is efficacious at killing the organisms of seborrhoeic dermatitis,and Staphylococcus intermedius. Staph. intermedius occurs as an overgrowth pathogen in the presence of Malassezia and is the main bacterial species responsible for bacterial dermatitis in the dog and cat.
Indications: Treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis associated with Staphylococcus intermedius and Malassezia; aids in the treatment of ringworm
Malaseb can alter the effectiveness of top spot flea treatments.
